TRi-D-FX has a strict policy for handling customer information. The information you provide to TRi-D-FX is confidential and protected to the fullest extent possible. TRi-D-FX will not disclose or distribute customer information to third parties without prior written consent by the customer.

Terms of Use
Welcome to the TRi-D-FX Web site (the "Site"). By accessing this Site, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to all of the Terms, please do not use the Site. TRi-D-FX may from time to time modify or revise the Terms by updating this Web page. Your use of our Site following any such change constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the Terms as changed. If any change is unacceptable to you, your only recourse is to terminate your use of the Site.

Privacy
It is our policy to respect the privacy of individuals who visit the Site or provide Comments to us. Our privacy policy (the "Privacy Policy"), is incorporated herein by reference. By accepting these Terms, you expressly consent to the use and disclosure of your personally identifiable and other information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Miscellaneous
TRi-D-FX understands that some purchases can be made in error. We will assist the customer in a prompt return for credit or exchange for a different product provided the following criteria are met.

Unopened Product Returns:

· Retail products must be returned to TRi-D-FX in New Condition (unopened and unused) within 7 days of purchase with original Sales Receipt. No Returns on DVR’s, Cameras, Computers or Laptops.

· All Products must be returned complete with CD’s, manuals, power cords etc. Incomplete product returns may delay or void the return. To avoid delays, customers should have invoice number of purchase available.
· All returns must be authorized by the sales or service managers.
· Refunds permitted on regular stock items with restocking fees.

Opened Product Returns:

· Retail Products returned in a used or non-original condition will be evaluated for a restocking fee of minimum 50%. Products not suitable for return will be returned to the customer at no-charge.
· Damage or markings to the product or packaging may void the return

Warranty Returns:

· Defective items will be replaced, repaired or exchanged as per manufacturers warranty policies.
· TRi-D-FX will provide warranty service on behalf of the original purchaser as per the terms and conditions of the original manufacturers warranty.
· Regular Stock items that fall within 7 days of purchase will be replaced from inventory (if stock is available)

Warranty does not include travel expenses or current labor rates

Exceptions:

1) Processors, Memory, Hard Drives:
Unopened Retail Processors, and Hard Drives will be credited at the lower dollar value of the current market price or the invoiced price. No returns for Credit on opened CPUs, and Hard Drives.

2) Software:
Opened Software will not be accepted for Credit or Exchange. (Note: Opened Software, Books, Video etc. are not refundable according to Canadian copyright laws). Defective Software is normally replaced with the original title. Concerns about suitability or compatibility should be directed to the software publisher.

3) Surveillance, Security , and Special Order Products:
Specially ordered products or customized products are not returnable for credit, refund or exchange.

4) Computer Systems:
TRi-D-FX computer systems are built for the customer and as such are considered specially ordered products and may not be returned for credit. Problems or incompatibilities should be reported to our service department as soon as possible and a solution will be determined. Microsoft Windows is not returnable under any circumstance.

5) Consumable Products:
Consumables (ink cartridges, toners, etc.) are not returnable if opened. Please check compatibility before opening.

6) Systems and devices that have been worked on by persons or companies other than TRi-D-FX will be void of warranty and as such nonreturnable and all warrantees will be void.

Computer Repairs:

Data Loss
Although we take great effort to save your data, unless customers specifically request our data backup service, each customer  is responsible for backing up any and all data that is stored on their computers prior to being serviced.

Recovery process:
We will recover the requested files as long as the files are not infected, corrupt or damaged prior to recovery.

Abandonment Policy:

Due to the limited space and property liability issues, we CANNOT hold your device forever.

Keeping with this, all customers agree to make a diligent effort to pick up any and all equipment within 30 days after completed repairs.
After the 30 days TRi-D-FX will attach a $5 a day storage fee to the final bill.
After 60 days at that point we will assume your order and its contents have been permanently abandoned, and at this time the equipment will be formatted to wipe all customer data off the drives and sold to recover our costs.

TRi-D-FX is not responsible for any typographical errors. We reserve the right to modify, and/or update any information contained on this web site (www.tridfx.com) at any time without prior notification.
